Fatal accident near Cassville

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reporting the death of 28 year old Walter Hooper the third of Cassville.  

According to the patrol, Hooper crossed the centerline on Missouri 76 5 miles southeast of Cassville and hit a semi head on.   

This was the 111th fatality in 2022 for Troop D based in southwest Missouri.
