Kansas City Chiefs defensive end suspended for personal conduct violations
The defensive end of the Kansas City Chiefs, Frank Clark, has been suspended from the Chiefs for two games. This ruling comes from the NFL for reportedly violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Back in June of 2021 Clark was driving in Los Angeles when he was pulled over by the Los Angeles Police Department for a vehicle code violation. Upon inspection the LAPD located a gun belonging to the Chiefs star.
Clark was charged with felony possession of a concealed firearm. Frank Clark was also arrested in a separate gun related incident in March of 2021.
These charges in addition to his prior history which includes domestic violence the NFL has decided to issue a suspension for two games.
“I’ve had to learn to be a better teammate, a better person and better man in general,” Clark said. “You’ve got to own up to it and what you’ve done. I affected a lot of people.”
This week is a bye week for Kansas City. Clark’s suspension will be served on Weeks 9 and 10.
He will be returning for the Chiefs’ Week 11 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in LA.
