Parents of Bentonville boy left on bus for hours sue School System

In Benton County, Arkansas a five-year-old boy should have gotten off the school bus around 7 a.m. one day last month.

Instead, he was left on the bus, evidently totally alone, for more than 5 hours.

The boy’s parents are now suing the school system.

They say several of its employees were negligent.

The parents say during the time the boy was alone, he called out for his parents and dog, cried, sweated profusely and urinated on himself but was still sitting in his assigned seat when he was found.

The suit seeks damages for physical injuries and pain and mental anguish.
