Motorcycle accident results in injuries to two in McDonald County

A motorcycle accident in McDonald County Friday afternoon has resulted in injuries to man from Diamond.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the wreck took place on Route EE about two miles east of Lanagan when an eastbound 2020 Harley Davidson operated by 47-year-old Joshua D. Mason of Diamond encountered a slick substance on the road.

That caused the cycle to overturn. Mason suffered moderate injuries. A passenger, 32-year-old Ashley N. Marcum of Granby, had minor injuries.

They were transported to Freeman-Neosho Hospital for treatment.
