Freeman Health Systems announces theme for Joplin’s 2022 Christmas Parade

The Joplin Christmas parade is being hosted by Freeman Health Systems who recently announced this year’s theme! At a press conference Freeman Health Systems’ CEO Paula Baker along with Joplin Mayor Doug Lawson announced this year’s theme is “Christmas Candy Land”.

Baker noted they are expecting a large turnout this year given that the COVID-19 pandemic interfered with the pervious years’ parades. A spokesperson for Freeman said they have been working diligently to complete all preparations for the event to ensure the day runs smoothly.

All proceeds of the parade will be going to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
