Lane closure planned for northbound Range Line Loop 49

A lane closure will affect a busy Joplin thoroughfare.

The northbound Range Line Road (Loop 49) right driving lane will be CLOSED at 36^th Street in Joplin

MoDOT says the closure will begin October 17th.

Contractor crews doing permit work to add a right turn lane at the intersection of Range Line Road (Loop 49) and 36^th Street.

Traffic Impacts:

• Northbound Range Line Road (Loop 49) right driving lane CLOSED at 36^th Street in Joplin
• Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas.  Drivers urged to find alternate routes
• No signed detours are planned
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

The project is scheduled for completion by late November 2022.

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
