2-month-old girl wounded in triple shooting has died

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – Authorities say a 2-month-old girl has died from injuries sustained last week in a triple shooting in Kansas City.

Police identified the infant Monday in a news release as Desiree Bowden.

She was in critical condition when officers responded Sept. 26 to a shooting.

Emergency crews also found 27-year-old Davon Bowden dead and a second adult suffering from non life threatening injuries.

Police said another child was inside the residence at the time of the shooting but wasn’t harmed. Police said no suspects are being sought and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

No other details were immediately released.
