Joplin City Council to review What-A-Burger site plan Monday night
The Joplin City Council meets Monday night.
The Council tonight review a site plan for a proposed new What-A-Burger restaurant at 2014 S. Range Line Road with access through 2019 S. Highview Ave.
Members will also hear an update about insurance costs for city employees.
Under Emergency Ordinances, the Council will consider a contract with the Missouri Dept. of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) for the Joplin Health Department to provide nutritional assistance and education to Jasper County residents at a cost of $611,813.
The Council will also consider an Emergency Ordinance to enter into a $1,200,000 dollar contract with McClanahan Construction for work at the Turkey Creek Wastewater Plant.
The Council also will vote to go into closed session.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall at 602 S. Main.
