Early morning accident injures man from Pineville

An accident on Bear Hollow Road, about 2 miles east of Jane in McDonald County resulted in injuries to a man from Pineville early this morning.

The accident occurred when an eastbound car driven by 44-year-old Brian H. Johnson failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 3:05 a.m.

Johnson was transported to Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville with serious injuries.
