Two men from Miami charged with multiple violations in Grand Jury Indictments
Two men from Oklahoma have been charged with violations of federal law in Grand jury indictments handed down in the Northern District of Oklahoma this month..
41-year-old James Allen Quapaw of Miami is charged with being a felon in possession of a Ruger .270 caliber rifle and four rounds of ammunition from Dec. 30, 2021, to Jan. 4, 2022.
Quapaw is also charged with selling the firearm and ammunition to 37-year-old Michael Wayne Tiffany, also of Miami, who is prohibited from possessing firearms.
Tiffany allegedly possessed firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, namely possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Tiffany is further charged with being a felon in possession of rifles and ammunition on Jan. 5, 2022.
Tffany is also charged with knowingly possessing with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine on July 16, 2022, and for possessing a firearm during the crime.
Additionally, Quapaw is charged with possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are the investigative agencies.
