What-A-Burger may locate at 20th and Range Line

Could a What-A-burger be coming to Joplin?

It sure sounds likely!

On Monday, Sept. 12, the Joplin City Council will review a site plan for a “burger chain from Texas”… which sounds a lot like What-A-Burger.

The proposed site appears to be just south of 20th and Range Line.

A lot of details need to be worked out but it seems the popular burger fast food chain will be coming to Joplin.

The What-A-Burger corporation recently announced a major move into the Midwest, including Missouri, on its website.

At this time, the only What-A-Burger locations in Missouri are one each in Blue Springs, Independence, Lee’s Summit and Raymore.

The company was recognized by Restaurant Business this year as one of the 10 fastest-growing burger chains in its annual Top 500 report.
