Visit Joplin launches new website to enrich guests’ experience
Visit Joplin has launched an all new website. It features more appealing graphics, larger text print, and improved ease of use. The site also offers better descriptions and more information about the partners listed on the site, including the social media and websites of businesses listed.
Shopping, dining, lodging, and things to do in the Joplin area are still featured prominently, and the new site also offers information on group travel and meetings, the Visit Joplin blog, community information, and an events calendar.
While the website is primarily designed to promote tourism in the Joplin area, local residents will also find valuable information on the site. The events calendar will continue to allow tourism-focused events in the area to be uploaded and listed by event and association planners. Additionally, businesses can update their information in a timelier manner.
Visit Joplin Director Patrick Tuttle says, “Where to stay in Joplin, where to dine, what to experience, what are the best things to see and do, are all part of the questions VisitJoplinMO.com strives to answer for guest from around the world who are planning a visit to Joplin.”
A ribbon cutting to celebrate the new site will be held on Thursday, August 25th at 10 a.m., on the 5th floor of the Joplin City Hall, 602 S. Main Street.
Tourism partners, the press, and local interested citizens are welcome to attend.
