“Human Blood Artist” busted for reselling human body parts on Facebook

He calls himself a “human blood artist” but others call him a sicko. 40 year old Jeremy Pauley of Enola, Pennsylvania supposedly obtained stolen human body parts, some belonging to children, from a mortuary.

Authorities say Pauley has been charged with abuse of a corps, receiving stolen property, and dealing in proceeds of unlawful activates. East Pennsboro Township police received a tip about suspicious activity at Pauley’s home which triggered an investigation into the “body modification artist”. According to court documents Pauley had been purchasing human remains from a female employee at a mortuary in Arkansas.

A spokeswoman from the University of of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock said the body parts found in Pauley’s home were supposed to be donated to UAMS’s facility but were stolen from the Arkansas Central Mortuary by an employee named Candace Scott and sold to Pauley through Facebook’s market place.

On Pauley’s personal Facebook page photos can be found showing bags full of femurs, vertebrae, clavicles, ribs, and human teeth. During the investigation police also found in the 40 year old’s home several older human remains and full skeletons which they have since determined were obtained legally.

More than just bones, police discovered in Pauley’s home three 5-gallon buckets containing a series of body parts including two brains, human skin, human fat, a heart, a kidney, livers, lungs, a trachea, and a child’s mandible with its teeth still attached. According to documents it was Pauley’s intention to resell these body parts conducting most of his business on Facebook’s market place despite their strict community standards.
