20 Monkeypox Cases In Missouri, Ranks 32nd Nationally
Missouri is now reporting 20 monkeypox cases statewide.
State health officials have allocated 19-hundred vials of vaccine for monkeypox to be distributed by St. Louis County’s health department, which is acting as a central distribution center for the region and the rest of the state as needed.
Missouri ranks 32nd in the number of monkeypox cases nationwide, a relatively low ranking. Neighboring state Illinois ranks sixth with 771 cases.
The state of New York ranks the highest with two thousand-295 cases, followed by California, Florida, Georgia, and Texas.
