Public hearing Monday night on City’s proposed 2023 budget
Citizens will get the chance to let their feelings be known about the City’s proposed budget during the Joplin City Council meeting Monday night.
During a public hearing, Joplin residents will have up to five minutes each to talk about the proposed budget.
Council members also will cover a number of other agenda items.
These will include a measure on first reading to re-adopt a financial interest disclosure, which requires certain officials and employees of the City of Joplin to file Financial Interest Disclosure Statements.
Also on first reading, the Council will discuss a contract to pay for a Museum Strategic Plan Study.

The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall at 602 S. Main Street.
