Little girl found after MSHP sent out Amber Alert

The Missouri State Highway Patrol had issued an Amber Alert in the early hours this morning for a missing 2 year old girl. The little girl was Amiri Washington of St. Louis and has since been found. Washington went missing at around 2:40 AM when she was left unattended in the back seat of a car parked in a parking lot.

The vehicle she was left in was then stolen by an unidentified assailant who later ditched the vehicle with Washington still inside. Police located both the car and the girl unharmed. Authorities say they have yet to locate the individual or individuals responsible for the kidnapping.
