Officers of the Joplin Police Department responded and located damage to a fence on the property. While clearing the business, a report of a vehicle theft in progress came out in the 3000 block of east Woodland Drive, just a short distance away from the business. Officers immediately responded and found the suspect still inside a black Jeep Wrangler.
He was immediately detained and identified as 46-year-old Kevin V. Granger. Granger was under the influence of an unknown substance and transported to the hospital for treatment.
