8 more men charged in University of Missouri fraternity hazing that left student with major injuries
Eight more men are facing charges in a fraternity hazing incident last year that left a former University of Missouri student seriously injured.
Boone County prosecutors have now charged 11 people in the hazing of Daniel Santulli from Minnesota.
Santulli’s parents filed a civil lawsuit against the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity over the October incident.
The suit says hospital staff found Santulli not breathing and in cardiac arrest, and testing later showed his blood alcohol content was point-four-six-eight – five times the legal limit.
Santulli was left blind, unable to walk or speak and with massive brain damage.
