Beloved Kansas City Chief Jim Lynch dies
Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Famer Jim Lynch died yesterday at 76 years old. Lynch was a beloved and active member of the Missouri community who helped the Kansas City Chiefs achieve their first ever Super Bowl win back in 1970.
No official cause of death has been released at this time. Lynch played 11 seasons for Missouri and was one of football’s most respected linebacker. Lynch still has the third most interceptions by linebacker in the team’s history. He was first drafted to the Chiefs in the second round in 1967 and played in 148 straight games.
