Pilot Who Landed On I-70 Possessed Drugs, Highway Patrol Says
A man arrested early Friday after landing an airplane on Interstate 70 east of Kansas City is also facing drug possession charges.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 35-year-old John Seesing of Prairie Village, Kansas is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than ten grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony unlawful possession of a firearm.
That’s in addition to driving, or in this case, flying while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash.
No vehicles were struck and Seesing suffered minor injuries in the crash landing.
