One dead, two injured in early morning accident

One person is reported dead and two injured following the crash of a vehicle west of Grand Falls on Riverside Drive.

Emergency responders were called to the scene around 2 a.m. this morning.

Police say one person died in the crash.

Two others are reported to have been taken to the hospital. One was listed in serious condition and the other in stable condition, according to the Joplin Police Department.

The name of the deceased victim will be released after the preliminary investigation concludes and relatives are notified.
