Fire destroys building on West 7th in Joplin

Joplin firefighters were called to a vacant building at 1700 West 7th street Tuesday morning where they found the building fully engulfed in flames.   

West 7th street had to be closed to traffic while hoses ran from hydrants to fire trucks on scene.   

The building appeared to be a total loss.
