Henkle’s Carnivore Cookoff today

If you’re looking for something to do in the NewsTalk KZRG listening area today, don’t forget about Henkle’s Carnivore Cookoff in King Jack Park in Webb City.
The first-ever Henkle’s cookoff is sanction by the SCA, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States.
Following a morning, cooks’ meeting, a Judge’s meeting will take place at 11 a.m.
After that there will be a Kids Turn in from 12 noon to 12:15 p.m., a Burger Turn in from 1 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., the Steak A turn in from 2 – 2:30 p.m. and Steak B turn in from 3:30 – 4 p.m..
The event will also include a kite show, car show, craft brew area, Monster trucks and entertainment in the ampitheatre with bands playing throughout the afternoon and evening.
The event is sponsored by Henkle’s Ace Hardware and other local businesses.
