ODET search warrant nets two arrests in Carthage

An Ozark Drug Enforcement Team (ODET) search warrant has led to two arrests in Carthage.

On 06/15/2022, ODET and Carthage PD served a Search Warrant at 914 W. Chestnut where they seized a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, two guns and several unknown pills.

ODET Detectives arrested 63-year-old Gayle McNear for Drug Trafficking 2nd degree and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

ODET Detectives also arrested 52-year-old Richard Waller for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug paraphernalia and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

This warrant was a direct result of an ongoing investigation conducted by ODET.

The above charges are all pending with the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.
