Two adults, three children injured in Dade County crash
Two adults and three children were injured Saturday evening on U.S. 160 about three miles west of Lockwood in Dade County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a Ford F-350 driven by 43-year-old Emmet C. Bodie of Fairfield Texas failed to stop at a stop sign.
He ploughed into the side of a GMC Acadia driven by 34-year-old Amanda R. Williams of Greenfield. Williams only had moderate injuries but a passenger in her car, 60-year-old Susan M. Dodd of Stockton, and a 13-year old juvenile male from Greenfield had serious injuries and were taken by air to Cox South in Springfield.
Two other children in the Williams vehicle had less severe injuries.
Bodie was not injured.
