Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Joplin

A motorcyclist from Rogers, Arkansas was seriously injured in a crash on Route NN, 2 miles south of Joplin around 2:45 Monday afternoon.

The MO State Highway Patrol says a 2012 Harley-Davison operated by 61-year old David D. Childs of Rogers went off the roadway and overturned.

He was taken to a Joplin hospital in serious condition.
