Freeman to hold groundbreaking ceremony for new medical office building

Freeman Health System will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday for a new medical office building at 34th and McIntosh Circle.

The medical office building is a part of phase one for a long-term expansion plan for Freeman.

The building will house offices for physicians specializing in pain management, dermatology, urology, general surgery and others.

Hospital leaders will don hard hats to break ground at 10 a.m., Tuesday morning marking the beginning of construction for the 30 thousand foot structure

The three-story structure will cost $10.1 million.
