Jasper county’s fallen law enforcement memorial wall

A new memorial wall honoring the 26 fallen law enforcement officers in Jasper County was unveiled today at the Jasper county courthouse in Carthage.

Jasper county sheriff Randee Kaiser held a memorial ceremony at the county courthouse and included Missouri’s Director of Public Safety Sandy Karsten as a guest speaker. The memorial wall showcases each fallen officer’s photograph and end of watch date.

The Chief from each agency represented on the wall had the honor of reading the names of each of their fallen and their end of watch date. Joplin police chief Sloan Rowland proudly recognized the 21 fallen Joplin Police Officers who died serving Joplin.

Joplin Police encourage all to stop by the Jasper county courthouse to visit the memorial and pay respects to those who gave their lives serving their communities.
