Joplin seeks citizens to fill positions on commissions, boards

There are lots of vacancies – over a dozen – on commissions, boards and other panels in the City of Joplin.

Citizens regularly serve on the Parks and Recreations, Airport, Conventions and Visitors Bureau and other advisory Boards in Joplin.

Some of the positions have certain requirements for years of residence in the City or other specialized knowledge.

Physicians can be appointed to the Board of Health.
