Joplin R-8 School System prepares for Summer School

The Joplin R-8 School System is getting ready for Summer School.

The school says almost all summer programs are in-person.

Health and Personal Finance are exceptions.

Summer School includes transportation, free breakfast and lunch.

Many classes helps students obtained earned credits toward graduation.

Enrichment Activities including Minecraft Coding, Skilled Trades, High School Transition and Musical Theater are included.

Most classes begin June 1st and end June 30th.

So far, over 1,400 students have signed up.
