Rasing Cane’s to hire 130 at Joplin location, opens in June

“Caniacs” in Jasper County will no longer have to travel across the Southwest Missouri Ozarks to satisfy their chicken finger cravings because Raising Cane’s is coming to JoMo!

The rapidly growing brand known for its ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – will make its Joplin debut at 1237 S. Rangeline Road in June. But first, Raising Cane’s is hiring 130 local Crewmembers and offering a starting hourly wage of $15. When the new Restaurant opens, it will mark the first Cane’s in Joplin and 19th in Missouri.

“After opening a successful Restaurant in Springfield last year, we couldn’t wait to grow and give Jasper County their very own Raising Cane’s,” said Restaurant Leader Yul Bean. “Joplin is a popular city with several major businesses, so we have no doubt that Raising Cane’s will bring in tons of visitors and locals that are craving delicious chicken fingers. We’re ready to bring over 130 new jobs to the Joplin Community!”

When: Now until opening

Where: Drury Inn & Suites located at 3601 S. Rangeline Road in Joplin

How: Candidates interested in various positions at the new Joplin Restaurant can apply by texting RCJOBS to 97211 or by visiting WorkAtCanes.com. Applicants will be contacted quickly to set up an interview after applying. Walk-ins are also welcome Monday through Saturday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

In March 2022, more than 25 years and 600 restaurants later, Raising Cane’s launched the largest creative campaign in brand history – “One Crew. One Love.” – which celebrates its Culture and Crew as key differentiators. More than 6,000 Crewmembers are featured in the campaign, which includes TV spots, social media, billboards and in-restaurant signage unique to each location. When “Caniacs” visit their local Raising Cane’s, all of the signage they see will feature the Crew that serves them in that specific Restaurant.

At Raising Cane’s, it all starts with 100% premium white meat chicken tenderloins that are marinated, hand-battered and cooked to order. The menu is also renowned for its craveable – some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
