Walmart Raises Pay for Nearly 320 Missouri Drivers, Launches Fleet Development Program
Walmart is raising pay for its private fleet of truck drivers, including the nearly 320 truck drivers in Missouri.
The company is also launching a new fleet development program to train the next generation of drivers.
Together, these investments will ensure Walmart remains one of the best companies in the world to drive for and will help it continue to hire aggressively to meet all-time high demand from customers.
With the raises in place, Walmart drivers can now make up to $110,000 in their first year with the company, with the potential to make even more down the road, based on factors like tenure and location.
The new private fleet development program enables supply chain associates in select locations to earn their CDL for free and become professional Walmart drivers.
