Teacher faces three counts of sexual contact with a student

A Butler, Missouri high school teacher is facing  three counts of sexual contact with a student.

A story filed by KMBC reports that  38-year-old Charles Reece was arrested at Butler High School Thursday and charged with three counts of sexual contact with a student.

The Bates County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report on Wednesday of a teacher who allegedly had a relationship with a past student.

Reece was taken into custody by the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and Butler Police.

Authorities said the school is participating in the ongoing investigation of this incident, and police anticipate additional charges connected to the same victim will be filed in the future.
