Rollover accident results in injuries to man from Joplin

A man from Joplin was taken Freeman West in Joplin following an accident on Route V, 6 miles south of Joplin in Newton county.

It happened around 10:15 Friday morning.

The Missouri State Patrol says 53-year-old Steven M. Peavy was eastbound on Route V in a pickup truck when it went off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

He was ejected from the vehicle.

Peavy was taken to Freeman with serious injuries.
