Joplin School Board to discuss purchase for Dover Hill Elementary

The Joplin School Board meets Tuesday night.

Among items on the agenda will be discussion of Clevertouch Panels for the new Dover Hill Elementary Hill School at a cost of just over $98,000.

The panels are interactive plat panels with touch displays that can be used in various ways for interactive classroom learning.

School officials say the Clevertouch panels are slowly being implemented into other schools as projectors wear out and are replace.

The open meeting  gets underway at 6 p.m. in the school administration building at 825 S. Pearl.

A closed meeting for legal actions, and the hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of employees will take place at 5:30 p.m.
