Update: GRDA recovers body of apparent drowning victim

Grand River Dam Authorities have recovered a body after an apparent drowning in northeast Oklahoma.

Police say a man did not resurface after his truck and trailer sank into the water Thursday evening after he was attempting to back the vehicle down a boat ramp at Twin Bridges State Park.

Authorities found the truck but not the victim Friday morning.

A spokesman for the GRDA says the body was found in over 25 feet of water Saturday morning.

No identity has yet been released.
