All tickets gone for U.S. Air Force jazz ensemble . . . .
If you have a craving for Jazz, Pittsburg will be the place to be this Friday, March 4th.
PSU will hold its 48th Annual Jazz Festival for high schools.
From 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., hundreds of students from more than 70 area schools will perform in their school jazz ensembles in four locations: the Linda & Lee Scott Performance Hall and the Dotty and Bill Miller Theater in the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts, and in the lower level and upper level at Memorial Auditorium.
Their performances will be for judges, but they are open to the public on a come-and-go basis.
At 7:30 p.m., the student ensembles as well as members of the public who already have tickets will attend a concert at Memorial Auditorium by the PSU Jazz Ensemble and the U.S. Air Force jazz ensemble, the Airmen of Note.
A Pitt State spokesperson says all tickets have been taken for the jazz ensembles performance.
