Range Line project might not start until late April
The Range Line railroad overpass replacement project might not start until mid to late April.
MoDOT is reported to still need railroad approval among other things.
That’s what Marvin Morris of MoDOT reported to the Joplin Area Transportation Study Organization on Thursday.
The contractor for the project will reportedly get a $20,000 incentive for every day it beats its 87-day time limit for the job.
The bridge and that area of South Range Line in Joplin carries over 25,000 motor vehicles a day.
Closure for the project will cause major traffic headaches.
