PSC will not look into complaint against gas giant Spire
The Missouri Times reports that the Missouri Public Service Commission will not be looking into a complaint against natural gas utility Spire.
Spire had issued a warning in the St. Louis area that if the STL Pipeline was shut down, people in that area could be left without heat this winter.
The PSC said there was no “substantial evidence” that Spire intentionally mislead the public.”
In a July press release, Spire warned loss of the pipeline during the winter could result in loss of life and property similar to that seen in Texas” in February 2021.
The PSC had said that would unnecessarily heighten customers’ concerns.
