COVID-19 cases in Missouri show dramatic drop

COVID-19 cases are dropping in Missouri.

Case numbers were logged at almost 11,000 a day over a 7-day period in late January.

Now, just 10 days later, they’ve dropped to about 5,000 cases a day.

The figures come from the Missouri Dept. of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).

The new figure still exceeds levels before omicron variant but officials say it is “promising.”
