Ethelmae Humpreys, considered to be the matriarch of roofing, passes away Monday
She lived to the age of 94
A woman that played a major part in the development of one of the region’s largest employers died on Monday.
Ethelmae Humphreys lived to the age of 94.
She was the daughter of E.L. Craig, the founder of current day TAMKO Building Products.
She started with the company in 1948.
She was considered by many to be the matriarch of the roofing industry.
