Man from Neosho arrested following Sunday morning crash
The incident occurred at 4:19 AM on Missouri Highway 59
A man from Neosho has been was charged with Felony DWI and several other citations following a crash that took place on Sunday morning at 4:19 AM.
The incident took place in McDonald County on Missouri Highway 59, about 1 mile south of Goodman.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash report says 21-year-old Austin Stoffel was traveling northbound on Missouri Highway 59 when he crossed into the path of 72-year-old Grove, OK resident Linda Williams.
Both individuals suffered moderate to severe injuries.
Stoffel was transported by a private party to Freeman in Neosho.
Williams was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Stoffel and Williams were both wearing their seatbelt.
Upon further investigation, Stoffel was charged with Felony DWI- Serious Physical Injury, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Careless and Imprudent Driving, and Failure to display valid plates on a motor vehicle.
