Joplin City Council to meet Monday night
Complete Streets ordinance, public service radios and pharmaceutical services on agenda
The Joplin City Council will meet in regular session on Monday, Dec. 20.
One item on the agenda is a Complete Streets ordinance.
This ordinance formalizes the planning, design, operations, and maintenance of streets so they are safe for everyone and provide a multi-modal transportation network.
Also on the agenda, council members will review the spending of over $380,000 to pay for mobile Motorola radios for public safety.
The Council additionally will discuss pharmaceutical services for the City Health Department and the low bid that was turned in by Walmart.
Several other issues and requests to speak from citizens are on the agenda.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. Monday night in Council Chambers at City Hall at 602 S. Main.
