Kansas confirms its 1st case of COVID-19 variant omicron, new vaccine recommendations

Kansas has confirmed its first case of the omicron variant, raising fresh concerns for hospitals that are already dealing with a rise in COVID-19 patients. The infected person is a vaccinated adult in the northeast of the state.
