Carthage celebrates Christmas in 2021

After last years events being canceled due to covid, the city of Carthage is going all out with Christmas activities this year.   

A Christmas Village is in operation on the town square.   It includes a snow maze, bouncy house with a slide and a synthetic ice skating rink along with visits from Santa.   Cost is $10 per person or $25 per family with two adults and up to four kids.   

The Christmas Village is open weekends through New Year’s Day.    

Also in Carthage is the annual light display at the Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer with over one million bulbs.  You can either walk or drive through that display. .
