Pinning ceremony held last week to honor MSSU grads of the nursing program
The event took place December 10
During a formal pinning ceremony that took place at Missouri Southern State University, seventeen graduates received a pin as they completed their bachelor of science in nursing.
The event took place on December 10.
The Fall 2021 class had to overcome several challenges that were sent their way, including the completion of papers, clinical hours through the pandemic, and remote learning, according to chair of the Nursing Department Dr. Lisa Beals.
According to Dr. Beals, the nursing Pin dates back to the Crusades and honors the legacy of Florence Nightingale for her impact and contributions to the nursing field.
