Delaware County seeking suspect Gerald Starr in connection with thefts

Estimated value of items taken is approximately $70,000

Delaware County is seeking the location of Gerald Starr of Kansas, Okla. in connection with warrants issued by Delaware County and the Cherokee Nation.

According to a posting on the Delaware County Sheriff’s Facebook page, on December 3 Delaware County Acting Sheriff James Beck and other officers located and seized a stolen goose neck dump trailer in Kansas where Gerald Starr was known to reside.

After receiving more information, Acting Sheriff Beck acted on a search warrant for two mini storage units located in West Siloam Springs, Okla. leased to Starr.

Stolen property was located in both storage units.

On December 8,  the sheriff’s office located a stolen travel trailer in the Flint Creek area on a lot rented to Gerald Starr. The estimated value of items seized is approximately $70,000.
