Pittsburg State University to hold Holly Jolly Tubas Concert tomorrow
Musicians planning to attend can begin registering at 10 a.m.
Pittsburg State University will hold its 2021 “Holly Jolly Tubas!” concert at noon Saturday in the lobby of Bicknell Family Center for the Arts, which is located at 1711 Homer on campus.
Tuba and euphonium players from across Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and other states will be under the direction of PSU Professor of Music Doug Whitten.
The songs that will be performed are traditional Christmas carols.
Musicians that plan on attending can register at 10 a.m. for $10.
That registration covers music, a 2021 Holly Jolly Tubas souvenir button, and light refreshments.
Rehearsal begins at 10:30 a.m.
