PSU staff member recognized for her contributions to the university
Kim Hull works as the assistant director for career development and student employment
One staff member at Pittsburg State University recently was recognized with a statewide award for her contributions to the institution.
Kim Hull, the assistant director for career development and student employment, was given the Brad Barackman Bridge Award at a recent conference of the Kansas Association of Colleges and Employers, according to a PSU news release.
To earn the award, a member of the group must implement a program that effectively bridges employees and career services.
Hull joined PSU’s Office of Career Services in December 2010 and has helped students unsure about their future career path focus on development, as well as nurture and develop connections with with employers to develop connections.
The office experienced some turbulence recently, with two staff members leaving for new opportunities.
Despite this, the office remained fully staffed, with Hull taking on additional roles.
