Soldier killed by juvenile, 2 others arrested in Missouri

LEBANON, Mo. (AP) - Authorities in central Missouri say one soldier is dead and two others are jailed after they allegedly committed two robberies.

Lebanon police say one of the soldiers, Ethan Williams, died of a gunshot wound in front of his home Friday night. Two other soldiers, Blake R. Paulson and Zackary R. Gillis, are charged with second-degree murder and two other counts.

They are based at Fort Leonard Wood. Court documents say the three suspects stole some items from one home before Williams was shot and killed by a 16-year-old after they robbed a second home.

The other two suspects allegedly left Williams body in front of his home before fleeing.
